Aspen Pharmacare - Evac Systems Interconnect
TOA’s NX-100 Network Audio adapter was used to overcome difficulties in reaching certain areas of the plant. The existing network infrastructure was used to page from the Control office via the NX-100 to either one of 6 remote Evac systems or to areas grouped together.
Each remote area had an NX-100 connected to the Evac System in that area. Those NX-100’s were then connected to the LAN and a Remote Microphone with zoned switches was used to initiate paging messages to selected areas. The Control Inputs on the NX-100’s were used to initiate paging.
Requirement:
Inter-communication between multiple Emergency Voice Evacuation Systems from different manufacturers on a large industrial site.
